Bunmi is a doctor from Manchester.

A fan of baking and cooking, she enjoys walks in the parks and road trips, while she's also a fan of drawing, colouring and doing puzzles when she's looking to relax.

When asked why she wanted to support Adopt a Grandparent, Bunmi said: "During the pandemic, I worked on a care ward for older persons. I really enjoyed caring for these patients, hearing their stories and the conversations we would have. As part of my job role, I would also conduct visits to patients in their own homes and in care homes. This showed me that not only my generation but also the older generations really benefit from the time spent together.”

She added: “It can have such a positive impact on their physical and mental wellbeing. My grandparents have sadly passed away and when they were alive they didn’t live in the UK. I always admired the close relationship other people had with their grandparents and would love the opportunity to experience this too.”
