Professor Martin Green OBE is an influential figure in the care sector. He’s the Chief Executive of Care England — the largest representative body for independent social care services in the UK. It’s a testament to our charitable objectives that he’s come on board as an Adopt a Grandparent ambassador, in a bid to help us eliminate social isolation in the older generation.

Her impressive career in dance and her dedication to raising awareness about dementia make her a role model in both sectors. Arlene advocates to bring joy and companionship and to combat loneliness for all 'Grandparents'.

Ruby Rose is a famous model, actress, dj, and television presenter. When she first heard about Adopt a Grandparent, she immediately wanted to get involved, adopting her very own grandparent, Iris. Morten and Sekoia has more than 10 years on the back, covering both Scandinavia and the UK. For Morten, digital transformation is key to delivering better outcomes and securing a person-led sector that never sleeps and always improves.

Jess Impiazzi, is a multifaceted talent known for her work as an actress, author, and media personality. From her formative years at the prestigious Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts to earning a BAHons degree in performing arts on a full scholarship, Jessica's journey is a testament to her dedication and passion for the craft. Jess is an accomplished author, penning her memoir titled 'Silver Linings.' Published in January 2021. Jess is also a Guide Dogs ambassador and uses her platform to praise the life-changing work of the charity and its staff.

Steve joined Barclays in 2019 and was appointed Head of Healthcare in 2020. With 20 years’ experience within Corporate Banking, he has undertaken roles ranging from leverage finance to client coverage with his focus being purely on Healthcare over the past 10 years. Steve was awarded Capital Provider of the Year in 2021 and 2023 by Health Investor.

Having worked in the healthcare sector for over 20 years, Mark understands the impact that loneliness can have for many older people whether they are a resident living in a care home or living alone. We’re delighted to have Mark on board to support us in achieving our aims to combat loneliness by creating meaningful intergenerational relationships.
