We welcome volunteers of all ages from all around the world. You may be an individual seeking an intergenerational connection because you no longer have grandparents of your own.

You may be an employee of a company that offers volunteering as a part of their social value programme. You may be a young person doing your Duke of Edinburgh Award. Whatever your motivation, whoever and wherever you are, you’re more than welcome to join us as a volunteer.

Volunteering with Adopt a Grandparent is so easy. All you need is a laptop, or iPad, or mobile phone, an email address and 30 to 60 minutes, once a week, to make a video call to your matched care home ‘grandparent’.

Based on your likes, interests, culture and language you will be matched with a ‘grandparent’ with mutual interests.
