You may be an individual seeking an intergenerational connection because you no longer have grandparents of your own.
You may be an employee of a company that offers volunteering as a part of their social value programme.
You may be a young person doing your Duke of Edinburgh Award.
Whatever your motivation, whoever and wherever you are, you’re more than welcome to join us as a volunteer.
Volunteering with Adopt a Grandparent is so easy.
All you need is a laptop, or iPad, or mobile phone, an email address and 30 to 60 minutes, once a week, to make a video call to your matched care home ‘grandparent’.
Based on your likes, interests, culture and language you will be matched with a ‘grandparent’ with mutual interests.
